In 2007, Akua, after a successful career in banking, founded and established Listening Bureau, a real estate brokerage and facility management company, which is fast growing, with remarkable potentials to lead in the industry. 

 

Listening Bureau is a registered and active member of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) and currently in the process of becoming an ISO 9001 International Standard Certified organization. 

 

Through her Leadership, Listening Bureau, which started off as a real estate brokerage firm providing services to small-to-medium scale enterprises and corporate within Ghana, won a contract with an International investor, Chain Homes Ghana Limited becoming its exclusive agent. Akua has been actively involved in the Chain Homes, Airport Valley project (102 houses) from design phase, and through her efforts Listening Bureau won the bid as the sole marketing company building the brand from its inception to be the best residential developer 2017 (upper income luxury category), Ghana Property Awards. She has won the accolade as the best marketing icon for luxury real estate in Ghana.

Listening Bureau is a registered agent for Regimanuel Gray limited, the market leader in the Ghana real estate industry. Due to the company’s experience in the selling of luxury real estates, it has gained international coverage providing brokerage services to EMAAR, DAMAC and First Group in Dubai and the Middle East.

 

Under her visionary Leadership, the company has evolved from a real estate brokerage firm to a fully-fledged Facility Management company providing services to Community 25 mall- Dawhenya, Accra Metropolitan Assembly – City Hall, Global Haulage Office Complex, and various commercial facilities in Accra. Listening Bureau is committed to the provision of quality facility management service in line with acceptable international standards and best practices to provide a safe, healthy and productive environment for facilities and to maintain and improve their life span.

Akua holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) – Finance, a Bachelor’s Degree Economics with Psychology (BA Hons.) from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and is a qualified Facility Management Professional (FMP) – IFMA. 

She holds certificates of participation in the following areas: Facilities Management Master Class from Alpha Mead Training Centre, Professional Communication and Presentation Skills by Benchmark Management Development facilitated by Ato Conduah & Associates, Service Marketing by Robert Hinson, Overview of Customer Service by Alex Banful (CEO, GSMF), Induction to Banking & Fundamentals of Credit Analysis & Management by IBFC Agusto.

Akua is married and blessed with a Child.
